Zurich’s virtual Chinatown Exquisite Restaurants, Specialised Shops and Useful Services
Zurich Chinatown is an online magazine that covers the topic of China in and around Zurich. While Zurich has no actual geographically dispersed Chinatown, there are still more and more places related to China spread all over town and in it's vicinity. Zurich Chinatown features these places, keeps you up to date on China events and provides important background information.
A keen interest in China and the joy of discovering new places and stories characterise our authors.

Finding authentic China in the city of Zurich has become my passion since I returned from a trip to China in 2006. This is why I started the project of a virtual Zurich Chinatown. There are so many places yet to be discovered and if you find that something is missing, please feel free to get in touch.

I am always excited when I find genuinely Chinese places in Zurich. I love going on quests to make new discoveries in my hometown and on travels. Besides that, I enjoy thinking about issues in society and philosophy and looking at art. I am happy to share my experiences with you and I hope you will share yours with me.

Big foody and travel lover! There is nothing more exciting for me than going on adventures and sharing my experiences with people. Zurich as a city is packed with surprises, even for Chinese people so that‘s why I‘m here. If you have any cool story to share please contact me.

China and the Internet being my two of my favourite places, I am more than happy to contribute to Zurich’s virtual Chinatown. My interests are in meeting people and writing about social, cultural, and culinary issues. I am also a huge lover of Chinese tea – so much so that I started my own tea business.

I've been interested in any form of art as long as I can remember. Painting, writing, acting, singing, dancing. They all give to my life a purpose behind the normal existence. But I won't lie, I'm a wild spirit who simply want to share his energy with the world. And that's why I'm dancing now and I will dance until my last breath. As dancing, I also fond very much acting, painting and writing, the sacred gift of creating pictures with words. And with that in mind I'm grateful of being inside of your mind while you're reading this and I just want to say: Thank you. See you in the next article!

I recently lectured at the Business and Technology University in Chongqing, China, in the Fashion department on creativity and colour in fashion. I loved being in China and want to go back again. I am interested in Chinese art and culture and in particular would like to learn more about Traditional Chinese Medicine. Would love to initiate an exchange of TCM doctors from Chongqing with Zurich. Am researching and writing a book on creativity from a creatives point of view, to be published later this year.
