Making Sugar Art – Workshops at Haus Appenzell

The exhibition “Zuckerschleck und Mehlgebäck” meets the taste. So far over 3000 people have marvelled at the Chinese dough figures and the Christmassy Innerrhoder Sugar Art in the House of Appenzell. Now there is an opportunity to make sugar figures yourself.

Only a few steps away from Sprüngli, in the Haus Appenzell on the corner of Bahnhofstrasse and St. Peterstrasse, the first experiments in the art of sugar can now be undertaken. Sugar artist Marion Schön conveys her passion for the sweet and delicate works of art in workshops and provides guidance in the creation of simple flower or Easter arrangements.

The exhibition “Zuckerschleck und Mehlgebäck – Dough Figures and Sugar Art from Appenzell to China” is open until April 25, 2020 from Tuesday to Saturday. Admission is free of charge.
